Frequently Asked Questions...
What school band instruments is closest to guitar in notes?
Like a concert band with trumpets, trombones, flutes, saxophones, and stuff like that. I want to tab our music for a concert coming up so i can play my guitar. I play percussion but i want to play something different. Im in eighth grade and had 5 concerts already, through 6th, 7th, and 8th. I want to know what notes to tab it by. I know the notes the my fret board but what instrument could i tab it from?
Answer:
The closest band instrument to a guitar is an electric bass. These are found in almost every school band. The 4 lowest strings on a guitar (E, A, D, G) are the same strings that a bass has.
